How to say farewell to your pandemic hookup

Yes it’s post pandemic and things are getting back to normal and it’s time to get back out there and reunite with friends and loved ones, but there is just one problem my next door neighbor. During the pandemic we sort of got together since there was nowhere to go and we were both stuck in the apartment building, so we comforted each other. I guess it was kind of convenient, however I don’t feel the same way as things are starting to open back up I guess I am starting to feel free to go back out there and resume life as it was, and you know what? It didn’t include a pandemic hookup. And now I am left to figure this out without hurting anyone, but just not quite sure how to do it I am sure many can relate
